Challenge

A unique site for a great cause

How we helped revamp the Challenge website.

Client:Challenge

Sector:Charity

  • What we did:
  • Digital Consultancy
  • Information Architecture
  • Website Development
  • eCommerce Integration
  • Website Support

National not-for-profit charity Challenge approached us to develop their website which they were in the process of having redesigned. In need of a refresh and performance upgrade in a very competitive space, where engaging, promoting, and informing their visitors has a direct effect on being able to generate donations.

It was important that the website not only reflected the spirit of Challenge, but worked to clearly show all of their activities and the extent of their great work in the community.

The website provided some complex issues of merging a very unique design with specific business requirements. It was extremely important that the Challenge team could easily update the site with total control over its content. This would enable them to promote all aspects of what they do, from fundraising events to activities, day centre retreats and camps.

Needing to engage the public through a variety of different channels, the website needed to allow for patrons to be able to register for Challenge programs, whilst also allowing the general public to make a variety of donations, from one-off payments to ongoing subscriptions.

In addition, the website featured an ecommerce store with extended capabilities to enable product auctions and automated response emails. The focus of the site has been to automate and simplify as many business processes as possible, to reduce the office management burden for the Challenge team.
