- What we did:
- Digital Strategy
- UX/UI Design
- Website Development
- eCommerce
- Facebook Business Manager integration
A proudly Australian business, Superior Pet Goods are uniquely placed in the pet industry as one of the few manufacturers that only sell via their retail and distribution partners. Their existing website was dated and didn’t provide the level of functionality or support that they wished to provide.
We were contacted to assist with creating a new website that could be used to promote their brand and build a new digital experience to showcase their distribution/retail network whilst providing a login area where partners can view their product pricing and create wholesale orders, to support their traditional b2b business model.

The website was built on an ecommerce platform, with product prices, cart and payment functionality hidden to the public and only available to logged-in users. Building the site this way enabled Super Pet Goods to take advantage of pre-built filtering and product categorisation. It also enabled us to set-up and build an automated product feed into the Facebook Business Manager platform. Creating a Facebook Commerce Manager solution, so product posts could be automatically uploaded to a ‘Catalog Manager’ and then tagged to Instagram and Facebook posts to support their social media marketing strategy.
Distribution partners can submit an online registeration for access to the site. Once approved they are able to view product pricing and complete wholesale orders online.
The site was built using a flexible content structure, which enables Superior Pet Goods to build page content and site design as required. The stockist locator was built using Google Maps geolocation API, so site visitors can search by their address to find their nearest stockist. In order to ensure that product price data remained hidden the site includes functions to hide Rich Results Text from Google, so it is not indexed and made visible to the public.
