Designing a premium digital experience for a high-end caravan manufacturer
Building a fully custom, component-based platform with advanced product visualisation and dealer integration.
Working in collaboration with creative agency Penzo Studios, we partnered to develop a bespoke digital platform for Lotus Caravans, one of Australia’s leading premium caravan manufacturers.
The goal was to create a digital experience that balanced strong brand storytelling with structured product exploration, while supporting a national dealer network and high-intent lead generation.
The platform was designed to support two distinct needs: high-impact marketing pages and deeply structured product information.
Rather than forcing a single layout approach, we built a modular component theme that allows content to be assembled dynamically across the site. This gives the internal team full flexibility to create campaign-led landing pages, while still maintaining consistency across detailed product and model pages.
The result is a system that can evolve over time without requiring structural redevelopment, supporting both marketing activity and long-term product expansion.
Building a connected sales ecosystem
A key requirement of the platform was to connect digital engagement directly into Lotus Caravans’ sales and dealer network.
We integrated email marketing systems to support automated follow-up and lead nurturing, ensuring that enquiries generated through product pages are immediately entered into structured communication workflows.
To bridge online and offline experiences, we also implemented a dealer location system using mapping integration, allowing users to easily find authorised dealers and service centres across Australia.
This ensures that digital interest is seamlessly converted into physical sales and support channels.
Advanced caravan configurator
One of the most complex components of the platform is a custom-built caravan configuration tool.
This guided experience allows users to design their own caravan by selecting options across exterior styling, interior layouts, finishes and functional fit-outs including kitchen, bathroom and living configurations.
As selections are made, the system dynamically updates the build in real time, providing a clear visual and structured representation of the final configuration.
Once complete, users can generate a detailed PDF specification of their build and submit it directly to their nearest dealer as a qualified enquiry, supporting a more informed and high-intent sales process.
Ongoing partnership & outcome
Beyond launch, we continue to work closely with Lotus Caravans and Penzo Studios to support ongoing platform development, performance optimisation and feature enhancement.
This includes continuous refinement of the configurator system, infrastructure management and technical consultancy as the platform evolves alongside the broader marketing and digital strategy.
The result is a highly flexible, enterprise-grade digital platform that combines brand-led storytelling with advanced product interaction and dealer integration.
It supports both marketing engagement and structured sales conversion within a single connected system, giving Lotus Caravans a scalable foundation for long-term growth and customer experience.
