Building a flexible digital framework
The platform was rebuilt from a legacy Magento setup into a fully custom WordPress architecture designed for flexibility, performance and long-term scalability.
A modular block-based system powers all content and product pages, allowing teams to build structured layouts without fixed templates. The same framework extends into ecommerce, combining product data with richer marketing content and storytelling.
All three environments operate on a shared core system, creating consistency across the Verbatim ecosystem.
Multi-brand ecommerce platform
The platform was deployed across three distinct digital environments: Verbatim ANZ, Verbatim Lighting and Verbatim Asia Pacific.
Each runs on the same core architecture however is extended through tailored implementations for different business needs.
Verbatim ANZ operates as a WooCommerce-based ecommerce store with integrations to Brevo for automated messaging and Meta and Google Merchant Centre for product distribution.
Verbatim Lighting supports a more complex product catalogue with faster deployment workflows and Google Cloud integration. It also includes a dynamic visual system that adapts based on product category and brand.
Regional multi-site system
For Asia Pacific markets, we developed a WordPress multi-site network supporting regional websites across Hong Kong, China, Singapore and Taiwan.
This structure enables content, product data and media assets to be shared or localised depending on market requirements, significantly improving efficiency while maintaining regional flexibility. With accessibility and multilingual delivery supported via a Google Translate API integration implemented across the network.
Product discovery & content infrastructure
To support product discovery across regions, reseller and stockist data is dynamically linked to product information and visualised using Google Maps API. Enabling users to easily engage with their nearest local stockist, with a link to even review product prices and purchase off-site with stockists directly.
Across all platforms, a centralised resource system manages large volumes of product documentation, brochures and technical assets, supported by cloud-based infrastructure using AWS to ensure scalability and performance.
Ongoing partnership & outcome
Beyond the initial build, we continue to work closely with the Verbatim team, providing ongoing consultancy, feature development and platform optimisation as the ecosystem evolves across regions and product divisions.
This includes continuous improvements to ecommerce functionality, regional expansion support and technical infrastructure management.
The result is a unified, scalable digital ecosystem that supports ecommerce, multilingual regional operations and complex product marketing across multiple business divisions — providing Verbatim with a flexible foundation for ongoing global growth.
